App policy
Drivers Logbook
The current app is designed to keep work records on the device unless you choose to export or share a file yourself.
Summary
The current app does not require an account for core use, does not include analytics tracking in the current build, and stores the main logbook records locally on the device.
What data the app stores
The app can store the information you choose to enter, including companies, shifts, vehicles, mileage, leave records, pay settings, expenses, bonuses, and app preferences.
Where that data is stored
The current app stores that data locally on your device. It does not require a hosted account and does not sync your logbook to a developer-run server.
Backups and exports
If you create a backup or export a file, that happens only when you request it. You decide where that file goes, such as Files, AirDrop, Mail, or another app on your device.
Analytics and tracking
The current release does not include third-party advertising, analytics tracking, or cross-app tracking. Drivers Logbook does not sell your personal data.
Support contact
If you contact support, we receive the information you send in that message, such as your email address and the details you include.
Beta testing enquiries
If you use a beta sign-up form or request test access, the information you send may include your name, email address, platform, device model, and any notes you choose to add.
Your control
You can delete the app to remove locally stored app data from the device. Deleting the app can remove local records, so create a backup first if you want to keep them.
Policy changes
If the app later adds analytics, hosted accounts, cloud sync, or other new data flows, this policy should be updated before that release goes live.
