Drivers Logbook privacy policy
Effective 9 August 2026. Drivers Logbook is designed for local record keeping, user-controlled exports and clear support contact.
Drivers Logbook does not require an account, advertising profile or developer-operated cloud database. Shift records, pay settings, company details, vehicle and trailer details, defect notes, fuel entries, absences, Driver CPC records and optional driver profile details are stored on the device during normal use.
Backups, shift reports, weekly reports, period reports and Driver Record PDFs are created only when requested by the user. Once exported or shared, the selected destination such as email, files, printing or cloud storage applies its own privacy practices.
If you contact support, Donut Development receives your email address and anything you include, such as app version, device details, screenshots or sample files. Do not send private employment records unless they are necessary for support.
Local app records remain until the user edits or deletes them, restores a backup, clears app data or removes the app. Exported files remain wherever the user saved or sent them. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, investigate faults and maintain records of support handling.
Data types
Drivers Logbook may store information entered by the user, including shift times, working-time reference entries, tachograph reference composition, pay rules, estimated earnings, payroll comparison figures, company contacts, mileage, fuel, defects, notes, absences, licence/CPC/tachograph-card reference details and exported-report options.
Donut Development does not automatically receive the driver's employment records. Operating-system backups, app-store services, email providers, file providers and cloud storage services may process data if the user chooses to use those services.
