Drivers Logbook guide

Record the day, then review the full shift before saving.

Drivers Logbook is built for UK drivers who want their own independent record of shifts, equipment, activity, expected pay and reports.

01

Start a live shift

Open the shift workflow, confirm the company and start time, then add vehicle, trailer, mileage and useful equipment details as the day begins.

02

Record changes

Add driving, break and POA reference time, use quick break entries, change vehicles or trailers, record fuel and keep defects or notes with the shift.

03

Review and finish

Check the complete record before saving. You can also enter a full shift retrospectively when live recording was not practical.

Reference tools

Understand working time without replacing official systems.

The app provides reference calculations from the records you enter. It does not replace an official tachograph, driver card, employer system or legal compliance advice.

Shift and rest information

Review current shift duration, daily rest progress, weekly rest status and earliest suggested next shift based on your entered records.

Driving composition

Track daily and weekly driving totals, progress towards the 56-hour weekly driving reference, and driving, break, POA and calculated other-work totals.

Pay and reports

Separate work completed from expected pay.

Drivers Logbook supports salary, hourly and day-rate estimates, separate pay windows, allowances, expenses and payroll comparison notes.

Work Completed

See what was worked and earned during selected dates.

Expected Pay

Assign work, overtime, bonuses, nights out and expenses to the payslip in which they are expected to be paid.

Payslip Check

Enter real payslip figures and compare them with app estimates to understand possible differences.

Records and backup

Keep useful driver information together.

Use the optional Driver Profile for licence, tachograph-card and Driver CPC reference information. Create PDFs or backups only when you choose to export them.

PDF records

Create individual shift reports, weekly reports, monthly or pay-period summaries, expected-pay reports and a separate Driver Record PDF.

Private storage

Records are stored locally on the device. Backups and exported PDFs can contain private employment information and should be stored securely.

Support
