Local-first storage
During normal use, Donut Development does not receive your records, attachments, document text or reminder history. Core records and imported attachments are stored in the app's private device storage.
Everdue privacy policy
Your renewal vault stays under your control.
Effective 7 August 2026. Everdue is designed around local records, user-controlled exports and on-device document review.
Document reading
Document text extraction and field suggestions are produced on the device and are applied only after your review. Suggestions may be wrong, so the user remains responsible for checking them.
Backups and sharing
Full backups and shared-record files use password-protected encryption. Donut Development does not receive the password or file and cannot recover them.
Support
If you email support, we receive your address and anything you include. We use that information to respond, investigate faults and maintain the product.
Retention and deletion
Local app records remain until the user edits or deletes them, restores a backup, clears app data or removes the app. Exported files remain wherever the user saved or sent them. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, investigate faults and maintain support records.
Permissions
Everdue may request access to selected files, photos, camera capture, reminders or device authentication only when those features are used. The current model does not require location, address-book, microphone or call-history access.

Policies, contracts, bills, subscriptions, vehicle records, providers, account and contact details, prices, dates, reminders, notes, reusable household members and assets, document suggestions and attachments.
Device backups, app-store services, file providers, calendar apps and email services may process information under their own settings and privacy policies when you choose to use them.
