Know how recent your record is
Today puts the last card-read date, record age and activity coverage in view. Personal read reminders help you keep it up to date, without implying a live view of your driving.

Made for your working day
A personal driver tool for understanding recorded hours and planning what to review next. No fleet dashboard or employer monitoring.
Today puts the last card-read date, record age and activity coverage in view. Personal read reminders help you keep it up to date, without implying a live view of your driving.
See driving plus other work for the selected week, and totals and weekly averages for your configured 17- or 26-week reference period. In-progress averages exclude future weeks; missing evidence and leave-adjustment limitations are explained.
Explore grouped shifts, clear daily totals and a visual calendar. Driving, work, availability and rest use distinct colours and tachograph symbols.
Review related drivers’ hours and WTD findings together, inspect activity charts, acknowledge issues and add comments. Acknowledgement keeps the finding in your history.
Add app-only activity or assign rest to eligible gaps. Assumptions stay labelled and separate from original evidence. Later recorded card activity takes priority.
Your first card establishes the driver reference. Later cards are checked against it; qualifying replacements need confirmation and low-confidence matches are blocked. Review screens show only printed identity details, not the incoming activity history.
Phone, tablet or unfolded
Use My Tacho on iPhone and iPad, or Android phones, tablets and folding phones. The layout responds to the available window size, including rotation and narrow split-screen windows.
Wide windows gain side navigation; larger layouts show Today in two columns and shifts side by side. Narrow windows retain the familiar phone layout, without resetting your selected week or unsaved settings when resized.
Adding your card
Connect a compatible card reader to read your own driver card directly. Android supports compatible USB CCID readers; iPhone and iPad require a supported external reader. Importing a saved card file is also available.
My Tacho reads Gen 1-compatible driver activity and identity data, including the backward-compatible records on Gen 2 cards. Newer smart-tachograph data, such as GNSS positions, is not analysed and is not required for the current features. Imported files must include the Gen 1-compatible records; files containing only Gen 2 data and vehicle-unit downloads are not supported. Check the reader guide and use your free supported import to check compatibility with your card and device. Bluetooth card reading is not currently supported.
My Tacho explains activity recorded in a download. It is not a live driving timer or a guarantee of compliance.
Reader snapshots are unsigned extracts, not a replacement for a full signed statutory download. Missing activity remains visible, and app-entered activity or assumed rest is labelled. Later recorded card data takes priority.
Free to download · one-time unlock
Your first successful supported import is free. A one-time purchase unlocks further imports, with no subscription. Existing records, reviews and exports remain accessible.
The app displays the current price supplied by your platform’s store before purchase. Restore the unlock with the store account used to buy it. Apple and Google purchases are separate.
Privacy and app terms
Core records are stored on your device, without an app account or developer-operated cloud record service. You choose when to export or share them.
Device backups may include app data according to your operating-system settings. Store purchases are handled by Apple or Google. Contact us with questions before sharing any driver-card files.
