A personal driver tool
My Tacho is provided by Donut Development LTD for drivers reviewing their own tachograph data. Only read and accept your own card. Do not bypass identity checks or use the app to access someone else’s private history. See our privacy policy for data handling and contact details.
Recorded evidence, not a live timer
The app explains the data available at the recorded timestamp. Assessment stops at the supported last card-out boundary shown in the app; later activity requires a fresh read and is not automatically treated as an infringement. Activity since then may be missing. Calculations depend on supported rules, source quality, coverage and your settings. Findings are possible issues to investigate, not a determination by an enforcement authority or legal advice. You remain responsible for applicable driving, rest, working-time and recording obligations.
Working time and manual activity
Recorded WTD totals and averages do not automatically include statutory leave adjustments or work absent from the records. App-entered activity and assumed rest are labelled assumptions; they do not write manual entries onto the card or replace legally required printouts. Acknowledging an issue does not remove an infringement. Keep supporting evidence and correct uncertain information.
Compatibility and original downloads
Current support covers Gen 1-compatible driver data, including the backward-compatible records on Gen 2 cards, using compatible external readers or supported files. Additional smart-tachograph data, such as GNSS positions, is not analysed or required for the current features. Files containing only Gen 2 data, vehicle-unit downloads and Bluetooth reading are not currently supported. Reader extracts are not complete signed statutory downloads. Check compatibility before purchasing reader hardware. Larger-screen layouts adapt to the window; availability of hardware and multitasking features varies by device.
Free import and one-time unlock
The first successful supported import is free. Further imports require the platform’s one-time unlock; no subscription is required. The store shows the applicable price before purchase. Existing records, reviews and exports remain accessible without a further import purchase. Apple and Google purchases are separate; restore purchases using the relevant store account. Sandbox or test purchases do not grant a production purchase. Payment, cancellation and refund processes follow the applicable store rules and your statutory rights.
Your records and backups
Keep independent backups of records you need. Exports remain your responsibility once saved or shared. There is no automatic developer-operated cloud sync between devices. App updates, device loss or removal can affect local availability; a password-encrypted backup and its password should be kept securely.
Support and consumer rights
My Tacho is available on the App Store and Google Play. Report problems to hello@donutdevelopment.com, with your platform, app version and a description; avoid unnecessary personal data. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. These terms supplement the applicable app-store terms and do not replace mandatory protections.
Updates
Features and supported rules may change as the app develops. Check the latest app and published guidance, and review the date of these terms when using a new release.
